Busy
I thought the blog is something I do when I have a lot of other stuff to do, but that's not turning out to be the case. I've been at this law school gig for about a week now, and I've been sans post the whole time. For the most part, life is bueno. I love my new pad, I've been cooking and baking and staying busy, I'm totally in the black for my sleep bank, and I'm on top of my assignments. And, I went surfing in SC for Labor Day, and it was tres fun. The waves were tiny-tiny, but I still managed to get one good ride.
Right this minute I'm feeling a little nuts because of my DSL. My equipment was supposed to come to me a week ago, and I still haven't received it, and it seems to take no less than an hour to get a customer service person on the line (either by phone or by live chat, or both), and once I do get a hold of one her answer inevitably is, it's scheduled to come today... !!! Now I see why Comcast are such anuses - this is their "competition."

Wow, who's your dsl company? That blows that they're taking so long. Maybe you could call and threaten to take your business to Comcast and see if they cough up your dsl kit faster that way. I know, with this shitty customer service, you're really between a rock and a hard place. I know Verizon was sometimes driving me nuts last year. Now I've signed a contract with the devil Comcast.
