Another Challenge
Is it possible to write suspense without an implication of horror, or that isn't a parody of horror? Something to put in one's pipe and smoke.

Funny how in real life, suspense comes from the anticipation of good things, too. Like, anticipating the arrival of this grant money, or anticipating whether your girlfriend's going to say "yes" when you propose.
Yeah I know, it kills me to wonder if she's going to say yes, whenever I propose.
